Audrey
Certified Dental AssistantAudrey was born and raised in Lillooet, BC. With a passion for dental care ignited early on, she pursued her dreams in 2014 by graduating from the Certified Dental Assisting Program at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George. After graduating, she relocated to Kamloops to start her career in the dental field.
Outside of work Audrey loves spending her time with her partner Harley and their two sphynx Dinah and Delilah. She also enjoys camping, doing DIY projects, crafts, plants and working outside in her yard. Audrey is currently on maternity leave.
Kasey
Certified Dental AssistantKasey is a Certified Dental Assistant with a passion for patient care and creating a comfortable dental experience. Born and raised in Ashcroft, BC, she completed her Dental Assisting education at KDM Dental College in Edmonton, AB, in 2011. After graduating, she returned to Kamloops to be closer to her family and friends.
With 14 years of experience—12 of them alongside Dr. Nagel—she brings professionalism, precision, and a friendly, family-focused attitude to every appointment.
Outside the clinic, Kasey enjoys life with her husband, Dwight, and their children, Renn and Rhett, spending time camping, cooking, and traveling together as a family.
Maria
Dental AssistantWhen Maria joined Horizon Dental in 2022, she was looking for an opportunity to advance her education and find a rewarding career that would also give her the time to spend with her two young daughters. Turns out the distance-learning Certified Dental Assisting Certification was just the right fit! Maria had no previous experience working in the dental industry but has quickly taken to her position as a dental assistant and become a valued member of the team! Maria grew up in the Kamloops area and enjoys horseback riding, camping, and travelling with her family.
Selina
Certified Dental AssistantSelina was born and raised in Kamloops, BC, where she was fortunate to grow up surrounded by family and the beautiful outdoors of British Columbia. Her passion for dentistry began toward the end of high school when she started working in a dental office as a sterilization technician.
In 2018, Selina completed her Dental Assisting education at Camosun College in Victoria, BC. After graduating, she returned to Kamloops to be closer to her family and friends.
Outside of work, Selina enjoys photography, baking, camping, music, spending time outdoors with her adorable dog, and enjoying quality moments with her husband and family.
Selina is currently on maternity leave.
Sophia
Dental AssistantSophia was born and raised in Cache Creek, BC. Her passion for dentistry began after high school when she joined Horizon Dental as a dental assistant. In 2024, she completed her Radiography Designation and is now working towards a career in dental hygiene.
Outside the clinic, Sophia enjoys spending time with family and friends.
